Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is the perfect opportunity to discover the incredible work we've been doing and get the latest updates on our achievements over the past year.

You'll have the chance to engage directly with your Elected Student Officers, ask them questions, and learn about their efforts to represent you at every level of the University and beyond.

This year, we're also inviting you to be part of a crucial discussion on the future of sport at the University. Your input is vital as we shape our future sport strategy.

Student Union AGM Giveaway – Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

1.1. The giveaway is open to all officially affiliated Student Activities (clubs and societies) registered with the Students’ Union.

1.2. Each affiliated Student Activity must have a minimum of two (2) representatives in attendance at the AGM to be eligible for the competition.

1.3. Attendees must pre-register for the AGM by obtaining a free ticket and selecting the activity they are representing at the time of registration.

How to Enter

2.1. Attendance will be counted through ticket registration and in-person check-in at the AGM both in person and online.

2.2. To contribute to an activity’s attendance count, attendees must be scanned in at the event.

Prize Details

3.1. Two prizes of £100 each will be awarded as follows:

- £100 to the Student Activity with the highest total number of attendees.

- £100 to the Student Activity with the highest percentage of attendees relative to their total membership.

3.2. Prizes will be credited to the winning activities’ accounts with the Students’ Union and must be used for activity-related expenses.

Winning Conditions

4.1. The giveaway is subject to the AGM meeting reaching its required quorum of 200 attendees.

4.2. In the event that the AGM does not meet quorum, the prize fund will be carried over to the reconvened AGM.

General Terms

5.1. The Students’ Union reserves the right to verify attendee numbers and eligibility before awarding prizes.

5.2. Any attempts to manipulate attendance numbers (e.g., misrepresenting affiliations) may result in disqualification.

5.3. The Students’ Union reserves the right to amend or cancel the giveaway if necessary.
