Guided tour of the Donside Community Hydro & picnic afterwards!

Join your VP for Communities and the Student Sustainability Advocates on a short excursion to the Donside Community Hydro - Aberdeen's first community energy project! 

We will walk from the Students' Union Building to the Hydro, where we will be joined by Aberdeen Community Energy (ACE) representatives who will kindly give us a tour of the installation. The Donside Hydro harnesses energy from its neighbouring river, The River Don, to create clean, renewable electricity which is fed into the national grid to help power our homes and businesses. There will be opportunities for questions, discussion and networking. 

We will afterwards have a picnic in Seaton Park (let's hope the weather is good). Bring some snacks!

Meet us at 10:30 at the entrance of the Students' Union Building. We should be back by 13:30.
