Humanities Halloween Ceilidh…

Welcome to the Humanities Halloween Ceilidh 2025, an event that (despite the name) is intended for anyone in the university community, including friends, staff and students from other (inferior) universities! After the shocking success of last year's ceilidh, we're doing it again this November 1st. Come in costume, and dance the night away to the amazing music of Halloween ceilidh band Danse McCabre, complete with dance caller for those less well-versed in the traditional Scottish ceilidh dance. Also included will be a full buffet, professional photographers working their magic all night, a tarot/palm reader for those spiritually inclined around this time of year, a complementary whiskey tasting featuring 3 different drams and an expert to tell you exactly what's so great about each, a free welcome drink, and a slightly less free bar! All hosted in the most gothic building within convenient walking distance, Elphinstone Hall, at 7pm November 1st. All are welcome, though there is a discount for those who are members of the participating organisers: Philosophy, History, Art History, Art, German Film and the French Societies, CineClub, The Gaudie editorial team, and the Raising and Giving committee. Also included is FREE ENTRY to the official afterparty of Room 212 at D2, Drummonds, down from the usual £8 and long queue, for the techno stylings of Aberdeen's own Herbs.

Any profits due to our messing up the "non-profit" aspect of this event will be donated to charity.
