Welcome (Back) to Aberdeen! ?
Start your year right with January Welcome Week 2026: a week packed with free events, socials, and opportunities to make connections, discover campus life, and get involved. Whether you’re new to the University or returning for another semester, this is your chance to meet new people, explore societies, and find your place at Aberdeen.
Expect a mix of meet-ups, games nights, workshops, live music, and campus tours, plus plenty of chances to connect with student groups and support services. From cosy coffee socials to big nights out, there’s something for everyone.
Highlights include:
- Welcome Fayre showcasing clubs, societies, volunteering, other opporutinites and freebies.
- Free food and events at The Union
- Information sessions on wellbeing, accommodation, and student support
- Fun themed socials and nights across campus
Every event is open to all students, whether you’ve just arrived or you’re back from break.
